NMC’s United Way Campaign a Success

St. Albans (January 18, 2024) – Northwestern Medical Center (NMC) celebrated the season of giving with another successful United Way Campaign, raising $30,000 for the United Way of Northwest Vermont. The organization would like to thank all the providers, staff and volunteers who contributed to this remarkable campaign.

The United Way of Northwest Vermont is a long-standing, vital partner in shared efforts to improve the quality of life in our region. Their work spans many key issues affecting our vision of a healthy community, including addiction, homelessness, hunger, abuse, childcare, aging, and employment. Many people in Franklin County benefit from the services provided by the United Way of Northwest Vermont including our neighbors, family, friends and colleagues.

With pledges ranging from a few dollars to thousands of dollars, NMC showed that a donation of any amount to the United Way of Northwest Vermont can make a difference in our community. “I am so happy that NMC was able to participate in this year’s United Way Campaign and I am so proud that we saw an increase in donors and gift amounts among our team” said Peter Wright, CEO of Northwestern Medical Center.

Thank you to all those who donated for making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families as part of the team delivering exceptional care to our community!
