COVID-19 Changes to Hours and Visitation

Please note that we have precautions in place in response to COVID-19 that restrict access to our buildings, and restrict visitation. We are not currently operating under normal 24/7 access or hours. For more information about our current operations, visit our Restored Services page.

Hospital hours

We ensure health access for our community 24/7. Our entrance is open 6 am – 8:30 pm, after 8:30 pm please enter the hospital through the Emergency Department entrance.

Please see additional information available on our Restored Services page.

Visitor hours

General visitation is currently restricted at NMC. One fully-vaccinated individual per day may visit an inpatient on NMC’s Progressive Care Unit between the hours of 9am and 8pm. In other areas of the organization, an individual support person may accompany a patient when specifically needed, such as for pediatric patients, expectant mothers, patients with cognitive disabilities, and patients at end of life. We do not set restrictions on hours for these support people. We simply ask that you please allow patients ample time to rest, and nurses and physicians time to care for patients. In special circumstances (including parents of newborns & children patients receiving palliative care services) accommodations may be made to allow the support person to stay with patients around the clock.

Please see additional information available on our Restored Services page.
