Laboratory
Our full-service Laboratory conducts over 300,000 tests per year, and is accredited by the College of American Pathologists.
Our Laboratory professionals help your physician understand what is going on inside your body. When your doctor writes an order for Lab testing, you can choose to have it done here at NMC. We work collaboratively with the University of Vermont Medical Center and Mayo Medical Reference Laboratories to provide access to high quality specialized testing.
Appointments are required, we are not able to accommodate walk-ins at this time.
Pre-registration for bloodwork
Patients of the NMC Lab preregister and reserve a time slot for lab work. Here’s how this process works:
- To pre-register, call 802-524-1070 on weekdays between the hours of 8 am to 4:30 pm, and choose option #1 to speak with a scheduling representative.
- Any changes in wait times will be communicated via text messaging.
- Please arrive at the Medical Office Building approximately 10 minutes prior to your reserved time.
- Remember, appointments are required, we are not able to accommodate walk-ins at this time.
