Request medical records

The Health Information Management (HIM) Department, also referred to as medical records, is responsible for protecting, maintaining, managing, storing, processing and retrieving the health information of our patients. NMC partners with MRO Corp., a health information management company that helps provide accurate and timely delivery of your medical records.

What to expect when requesting a copy of your medical records:

  1. Sign an authorization form in person at NMC, or online at www.medicopy.net/patients.
  2. Please provide an email address, if available. Your email will expedite the process and delivery method. 
  3. After your authorization is received, MediCopy will fulfill your medical request and send to the requesting party.

Cost for medical records

NMC charges 50 cents per page for copies of medical records. The first 10 pages will be free, but each additional page will cost $.50. Your records are always easily accessible for free through our Patient Portal. If you have any questions, feel free to call 802-524-1060 to reach our Health Information Management team. 

Patient health information is on the patient portal

For your convenience and continuity of care, we have made patient health information available to each individual.

Our Patient Portal is a secure way to share health records, communicate with healthcare providers, view medication history and more. Key Portal features convenience, quick access, and security of information. Health Information from all hospital and physician practice visits are accessible through NMC’s Patient Portal.
