Our inpatient team consists of physicians, advance practice providers, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, pharmacists, dietitians, care management staff, and discharge planners working together to provide the best care possible.

Each patient also receives care from a Hospitalist who works hard to ensure a patients stay runs smoothly and helps coordinate their care. Hospitalists do not have traditional office practices, allowing them to focus solely on caring for patients in the hospital.

Our team of hospitalists will be caring for you during your hospital stay. It is our goal to provide you with the highest quality of care at all times. To meet this goal, we are committed to:

  • Treating you and your family with courtesy and respect
  • Listening carefully to you and your family’s questions and concerns
  • Explaining your condition and care in a way that you can understand
  • Striving to meet and exceed your expectations for high-quality care during your stay

What is a hospitalist?

A hospitalist is a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant specially trained to care for patients while they are hospitalized and who focuses on caring for special needs of patients in the hospital setting. Hospitalists are focused on patients with numerous complex medical problems that require acute inpatient care. Because they concentrate on just the hospital, they are able to devote all their efforts in the care of these hospitalized patients.
