Welcome to Northwestern Cardiology

NMC’s cardiology practice is a collaborative effort between Northwestern Medical Center, the University of Vermont Medical Center and Copley Hospital. Dr. Anisman and Nurse Practitioner Beth Paquin are employed by NMC, Drs Hagerty and Denkmann are employed by UVMMC and Dr. Kunin is a Copley physician. The partnership of our three hospitals allows NMC to offer a robust schedule of appointments to meet community need. The addition of Dr. Anisman in 2024 helped us grow the practice significantly, as part of NMC’s strategic focus on this area of health.

NMC also offers a strong Cardiac Rehab Program in the Cobblestone Health Commons building to help patients regain strength and confidence in physical activity after a heart issue. Our efficient referrals to that service ensure we are with you every step of the way.

Our Location

Northwestern Cardiology is located in the Medical Clinics section of NMC, directly adjacent to our main hospital entrance, and situated alongside Northwestern Pulmonology, Northwestern OB/GYN, and other practices. You can access the Medical Clinics building from either the main hospital entrance or the Medical Office Building entrance. Click here if you would like a map of our campus and buildings.

If it is and you’d like to schedule a telemedicine visit, we will then give you instructions on how to make the connection, which will use NMC’s Patient Portal Virtual Visit functionality.
