The Gift Shop is run by the NMC Auxiliary and staffed by volunteers. Can’t make it in to visit the shop in person? You can call us to select gifts or flowers, and we will personally deliver your gift directly to a patient’s room!

About the gift shop

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Gift Shop is now open to staff and only during limited hours.

Contact the shop: Located directly off the main lobby of the hospital, the shop is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Contact us at 802-524-8482.

Offerings: Greeting cards, stuffed animals, fresh flower arrangements, jewelry, seasonal accessories and decorations, health and beauty, toys and games, baby clothing, candy and chocolates, local newspapers, helpful and useful items, and much more can be purchased at the Gift Shop.

Purchasing flowers: Patients are allowed to have fresh flowers in their rooms (even if they are in the Intensive Care Unit) unless there is a known allergy. Our hospital gift shop, which is located in the front Lobby of the hospital, also has a small selection of flowers for purchase. Any deliveries to the Hospital by a florist will be brought to patients by the Concierge or nursing staff. Our Concierge will be pleased to help in the care of flowers or plants during a patient’s stay with us.

Purchasing balloons: We welcome you to bring Mylar or latex free balloons to our patients to help them celebrate a new birth or offer get well or happy birthday wishes. Please understand that latex balloons are not allowed in our hospital, or at many other hospitals, because of latex allergies.
