On Thursday, September 12, NMC’s Auxiliary Board and Membership of Northwestern Medical Center held its opening membership meeting from 11:30 am– 1:00 pm to begin the new business year.

The Auxiliary membership meets four times a year in September, November, February and April. Members who were in attendance enjoyed a meal provided by our fantastic Restaurant and Catering Department, listened to guest speaker Kelly Wakefield, Master Gardner of Green Feet Gardening, and concluded with a regular business meeting.

During the business portion of the meeting, the 15-member board, led by President Joan Aher, reported on the various areas of responsibility. The purpose of the NMC Auxiliary is to support the mission of the Northwestern Medical Center through fundraising and positive community relations.
