Through long-standing collaboration and proactive advance planning, the Vermont National Guard, NMC, and Collins Perley Sports Complex have stepped up to provide our region with additional medical care capacity should there be a need within our response to COVID-19. This is currently one of three being planned in the State. As Vermont Governor Scott said, “While we hope we don’t have to use them, we must be prepared for this possibility.” We are currently working through the set up,  operational details, and staffing of this unit to ensure it is ready when needed. NMC deeply appreciates our partners across the community and at the State level in this effort.
