Chelsey Lawyer
Physician Recruiter
Chelsey first joined NMC in 2008 and has been part of various teams throughout NMC, with most of her time in the Physician Services division. In 2024 Chelsey became the Physician Recruiter and has been able to leverage her organizational and operational knowledge with Medical Staff recruitment. Chelsey is passionate about partnering with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to find long-term placement opportunities in a specialty that is meaningful for them. Chelsey is a lifelong resident of Franklin County, where she and her family reside. She is an active member of her community, serving on the recreation committee in her hometown and attending many sporting events for her children.

Sarah Sterling is a Strategic Human Resource Business Partner with over seven years of experience aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive organizational success. She joined Northwestern Medical Center in 2012 as Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and transitioned into Human Resources in 2017 as an HR Advisor.
Sarah has a proven track record in managing complex employee relations, leading talent acquisition strategies, and implementing HR policies that enhance operational efficiency. She collaborates closely with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support growth and foster a positive work environment.
A lifelong resident of Franklin County, Sarah is deeply engaged in both the NMC community and the region she calls home. She is an ambassador for NMC’s culture and understands the critical role engagement plays in recruiting and retaining top talent.
