ASPIRE Nurse Residency Program!
Unique to NMC, the ASPIRE program is a nurse residency program for new grads, or experienced nurses who are new to a hospital setting. The program is designed to have classroom / didactic time to review and become familiar with policies, procedures, equipment, and standards of care in advance of starting orientation on the unit. The ASPIRE nurses will meet periodically to continue to advance their skills and spend time doing simulation at our Congress & Main Street teaching facility, all while having a cohort of nurses to support each other through the start of their nursing careers.
Meet Erika
Erika, a mom and former FedEx driver, dreamed of a healthcare career but didn’t see a way forward. She joined one of our recruitment events and is now working as a surgical technologist on her journey to becoming an RN. Your path can start here too!

What else can you expect from a nursing career with NMC?
Our nurses help advance quality care at our community hospital, all while living in a beautiful, natural setting with close proximity to mountains and lakes and easy access to Montreal and Boston. We focus on developing highly reliable approaches rather than defaulting to how it’s always been done. Our nurses are able to appreciate specialized tertiary support when needed but have the freedom to be a nurse in a smaller, more personal setting. Does this sound like the opportunity you’ve been waiting for?
