Charlotte “Charley” Harvell, SLP

Before coming to NMC, Charley worked at the Carl A. Darnall Army Medical Center, providing speech therapy services to active duty and retired soldiers with a focus on voice and swallowing disorders. She got into the field after working as a teacher, becoming interested in the science behind speech and language disorders her students experienced. She said she is passionate about advocating for patients who have special needs and working on multi-disciplinary teams to collaborate on patient care.

Outside of work, Charley enjoys hiking and being outdoors. She loves to travel and experience different countries and cultures. She also enjoys painting, and exploring different art mediums.
