St. Albans (June 13, 2025) – Northwestern Medical Center recently earned recognition from the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness & Sports and the Vermont Department of Health. NMC was one of many businesses all around the state that was honored – this year earning the Silver Award.

The awards are designed to highlight and recognize what worksites from around the state are doing to promote the health and wellness of their employees. The organizations that receive the awards vary in size, industry and location but they all have a common thread, a commitment to workplace wellness.
