Location: Sheldon Community Forest (meet at the Sheldon Elementary School parking lot, the lower parking lot at the Nature Center).

Participants will get a close look at creatures, plants and birds as they emerge from the cold and dark winter months during this forest exploration. Tree species, winter birds and (if the weather cooperates) early forest flora will be the primary focus of this early Spring walk. The forest contains numerous trails crisscrossing 84 acres of mixed northern forest and can be a getaway for family fun or solitary walks through-out the year.
