This film, directed by Bess O’Brien, is a feature length documentary focused on the lives of women, girls and some boys who are caught in the downward spiral of eating disorders, their struggle to regain a sense of self-compassion and healing and parents who struggle with their children around this devastating disease. The film will focus on body image, a lack of connection with one’s physical and emotional being and the need to delve deep within one’s self to find the systemic reasons that triggered this disease. The movie gives hope to those struggling – people can recover and reclaim their bodies, their emotional connection with themselves and others.
