St. Albans (January 6, 2026) – Northwestern Medical Center is pleased to announce the birth of our first baby of 2026. On Sunday, January 4, Tabitha Burbo and Gavin Pappas welcomed baby Evelynn Leighora-Marie Pappas into their family.

Tabitha and Gavin, who live in Georgia, were happy to meet their first child – who was born at 12:38 pm, a healthy 7 pounds, 8 ounces, measuring 19 and one quarter inches long.

As the first baby born at NMC this year, Evelyn was presented with a gift basket containing a baby blanket, soft book, toys, an assortment of baby essentials, some onesies, and treats for mom and dad! The NMC family would like to wish the family a happy and healthy New Year!
