Sarah graduated from the University of Vermont Physical Therapy program in 1997 and has been a Physical Therapist at Northwestern Medical Center since 1997.
In addition to a general sports and orthopedic background, she has attended the Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institution training and has worked at our aquatic facility throughout her 15 years at NMC. She has attended continuing education courses in a variety of orthopedic rehab topics as well as wound care, muscle energy techniques, shoulder rehabilitation, foot orthotic use and fabrication as well as vestibular rehabilitation. She is passionate about aquatic rehabilitation and the successes that her clients have seen through exercise and rehabilitation in the pool.
In addition to working through our aquatic and Cobblestone clinics you may also see Sarah covering at our Enosburg and Georgia clinics as well as providing acute rehabilitation in our inpatient setting.
Sarah was born and raised in Swanton and continues to reside in Swanton with her husband and two sons. She is an active volunteer in the community including and enjoys watching her children participate in athletics, walking, biking, swimming, downhill skiing and traveling.
