Location: Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge, Stephen Young Marsh

Join Kurt Valenta of Exodium Adventures for this trek, enjoying the reawakening of a marsh landscape and it’s denizens in late winter. Depending on snow conditions, plan to snowshoe on a trail leading through marsh, transitional forests and mature hardwood/conifer stands, a sugar bush and finally ending at the edge of a beaver pond overlooking numerous bird nests and mammalian marsh dwellers, This walk should be invigorating as well as informative regarding one of the most important features of our natural landscape – the wetland!
