Laboratory

Our full-service Laboratory conducts over 300,000 tests per year, and is accredited by the College of American Pathologists. We work collaboratively with the University of Vermont Medical Center and Mayo Medical Reference Laboratories to provide access to high quality specialized testing.

Our team runs a 24-hours a day lab service with bloodbank, microbiology, chemistry and hematology services. We also operate a busy outpatient lab Monday through Friday in our Medical Office Building.

Diagnostic Imaging

Our Diagnostic Imaging service includes MRI, CT-Scan, Ultrasound, Mammography, X-Ray, and more. We seek to provide exceptional care and the highest quality imaging service available to our community. We are fully digital and proud to be accredited by the American College of Radiology in Mammography, Computed Tomography (CT), MRI and Ultrasound.

Respiratory Services

The Respiratory Therapists on our team are a critical component of NMC’s Clinical Services, serving patients on an inpatient or outpatient basis. Inpatient care is provided in all areas of our hospital, from caring for newborns with breathing issues to disease treatment for all ages, to supporting end of life care.

Also, our Respiratory Therapists play critical roles on our Rapid Response, Code, and Stroke Teams.
