NMC Welcomes Sue Dodge to the Physical Therapy Team

NMC and the Northwestern Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Center are pleased to welcome veteran physical therapist Susan Dodge to the team.

Dodge is a native Vermonter who earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont and her Master’s Degree in health care administration from Marlboro College.

Dodge’s primary areas of interest are treating overuse injuries and general orthopedics. Susan is certified in Graston Technique® – an innovative, evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to detect and break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions, as well as maintain optimal range of motion.

She also performs Resting Metabolic Rate Testing and VO2 Max Testing in order to guide more personalized weight loss and training programs for her clients. Her mission is to use evidenced-based Physical Therapy and the science of performance testing to help individuals develop personalized rehabilitation and training plans to enhance their own health and wellness.

Dodge said training smart, not hard, is the important objective, whether the goal is to rehab from an injury lose weight, increase strength, run your first 5k or your next marathon.

She is an avid runner who loves health, fitness and science and enjoys helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. She lives in South Burlington, with her partner and their 5 children.
