NMC is pleased to announce the hospital has once again earned an Avatar Award for Exceeding Expectations, an honor based on feedback from patients about their hospital experience after their stay.

Factors evaluated for the 2016 award include quality, reliability and personalization of care which are areas of strength for Northwestern Medical Center.

NMC has previously won Avatar awards for Exceeding Patient Expectations, for Overall Patient Satisfaction, and for Overall Best Performer. These awards had been given by Avatar Solutions, an industry leader in healthcare quality improvement services.

In 2016, Avatar was acquired by Press Ganey Associates, which will honor client organizations for excellence in the patient experience, employee and physician engagement, clinical and nursing quality.
