NMC Again Named One of Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals
Northwestern Medical Center was recently named one of the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals in the United States by iVantage Health Analytics and The Chartis Center for Rural Health. This is the second time NMC has earned this distinction.
“I am so pleased that NMC has been named as one of the Top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals in the United States for 2019,” said NMC CEO Jill Berry Bowen, RN. “NMC has earned this honor once before and it represents independent confirmation of our commitment to exceptional care and the hard work of our staff every single day for our patients, our organization, and our community.”
This prestigious award is based on the results of the iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength Index from which draws on 50 rural-relevant indicators across Inpatient Market Share, Outpatient Market Chare, Cost, Charge, Quality, Outcomes, Patient Perspective and Financial Stability. NMC is among the nation’s top rural providers that are writing the blueprint for success as we transition to value-based healthcare.
