Family and friends of Vermont State Police Corporal Daniel C. Marcellus gathered this week at Northwestern Medical Center to honor him with the addition of a leaf to NMC’s Tree of Life.

Development Director Jeff Moreau welcomed those in attendance and presented the gold leaf to Jessica Marcellus who then affixed the tribute to the wall in remembrance of her husband.  Marcellus a 14-year veteran of the Vermont State Police passed away in August after a ten month battle with brain cancer.  He was 35.  A gift in his honor was made from the Branco and Howard Families to the Jim Bashaw Cancer and Catastrophic Illness Fund.
