Once again this October, NMC is asking women to think about what motivates them to take care of their health with a unique contest offering the chance to win a $300 spa package.

In its second year, the Mammogram Motivation contest asks women who have or schedule a screening mammogram in October or November to simply mention their “MAMMOtivation” and they’ll automatically be entered to win.

The creative idea supports October’s Breast Cancer Awareness efforts, and recognizes the importance of preventive healthcare. The contest also encourages women to invest in self care and make time for themselves.

“It was very well received by patients last year,” said Breast Care Nurse Navigator Chelsea Mulheron. “Sometimes people are reluctant to schedule a mammogram, and having an interesting idea like this contest can help provide a positive reminder,” she said.

NMC can also connect patients with resources through the Ladies First program and the Susan G. Komen Foundation, including qualifying for a free mammogram.
