Dragonheart Vermont recently gave the Healing Circle Women’s Cancer Support group a $2,000 gift as the organization closes the Survivorship NOW program in Williston. These funds provide the support group with an exciting opportunity to start and support activities for women in our area.

The Healing Circle Women’s Cancer Support group is available to women with any cancer type, and who are at any stage of their battle, from newly-diagnosed through survivorship.

The group hopes to use this funding to create an opportunity to try classes like: strength and stretching, Tai Chi, mindfulness, massage, healing touch, and chair or seated yoga. Other possible activities include an Integrative Medicine seminar or hosting an annual Healing Circle Survivor Celebration to honor all cancer survivors.

Dragonheart Vermont is a non-profit organization for breast cancer survivors and supporters. The Healing Circle group is deeply appreciative of the $2,000 gift, and excited to put the funding to use supporting local cancer survivors.
