St. Albans (June 26th, 2025), Northwestern Medical Center presented the Samaritan House with a check of just over $700 as part of donations raised during a basket raffle hosted on Hospital Week. 

“Hospital Week provides a great opportunity for NMC employees to give back to the community, and we saw great participation with the basket raffle fundraiser this year. Ben Kaufmann, the Samaritan House Program Director, was kind enough to take us on a tour of the building and provide insights into the program. I was truly grateful to see the opportunities and support they offer through the program with housing, food, laundry, shower access, and more. The housing crisis in Vermont is becoming more dire each day, and we all need to ensure we support the services that aid those in need. I am thankful we were able to play a small role in that.” said Wonder Bilodeau, Patient Relations Specialist.
