Katie Shattuck is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who works as part of the inpatient pediatric team at Northwestern Medical Center. Katie has a background as a staff nurse at UNC Hospitals’ Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She has worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in primary care in North Carolina as well as in a developmental clinic in Portland, Oregon. Katie specializes in caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, school-age, adolescents, and young adults. Katie has a particular passion for children with special healthcare needs. Outside of work, Katie enjoys reading, running, cooking, and spending time with her family.
