This year’s Community Partners Classic golf tournament raised just over $39,300 for Northwestern Counseling & Support Services and Northwestern Medical Center. In its 18th year, the collaborative tournament was a great success with 37 teams enjoying a round of golf at the Champlain Country Club and 39 sponsors supporting the tourney.
For the second year in a row, NMC will invest the funds raised from the tournament into local transportation infrastructure.
“We are grateful for the funds raised in the event, as they will help improve access to care in our community,” said Jonathan Billings, NMC CEO. “Transportation challenges are an identified concern in the local Community Health Needs Assessment, and these funds will help individuals facing those challenges.”
Funds raised from the event are split between the two organizations and help support the physical and mental health of the Franklin and Grand Isle communities.
