Changes in Staffing at NMC’s OB/GYN Practice
Later this year, NMC’s obstetrics and gynecology practice will undergo two notable staffing changes. Dr. Lowrey Sullivan has announced his intention to end practice with NMC. He will begin a transition this summer and has graciously offered to stay with the practice through the end of the year.
NMC would like to offer thanks to Dr. Sullivan for 26 years of strong leadership of the OB/GYN practice and his tireless care for so many local families. Dr. Sullivan has been an integral voice in the NMC organization, serving as the Chief Medical Officer, President of the Medical Staff, and a trusted and valued colleague. He will truly be missed.
Another staffing change is that Dr. Liel Navi will be leaving NMC to seek other opportunities that will promote her professional growth. She will be with the OB/GYN practice through August, and NMC wishes her the best in her next endeavors.
NMC recently hired a temporary physician for Northwestern OB/GYN: Dr. Timothy Johnson, click here to learn more about Dr. Johnson. NMC will continue recruitment efforts to build a sustainable staffing model for the practice and continue exploring options to maintain local access to exceptional OB/GYN care in our community.
