Dr. Anisman joined NMC after 15+ years at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, and more recently, North Country Hospital. He earned his MD from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center, and his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Worcester Medical Center. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He chose cardiology because he finds it fascinating, and it is an area where he is able to significantly improve the lives of his patients.
Dr. Anisman and his family enjoy being back in St Albans; he and his wife both worked for NCSS years ago and were excited to return to the area. They bring a daughter (in college) and a son (in high school) with them. In his free time, he enjoys spending time at home with family, and has hobbies that include music (mainly drums), sculpture (mostly steel), and pizza-making.
