Steven Anisman, MD, FACCCardiology

Dr. Anisman joins us after 15+ years at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, and more recently, North Country Hospital. He earned his MD from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center, and his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Worcester Medical Center. He is currently board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He chose cardiology because he finds it fascinating, and it is an area where he is able to significantly improve the lives of his patients.

Dr. Anisman and his family are looking forward to being back in St Albans; he and his wife both worked for NCSS years ago and are excited to return. They bring a daughter (in college) and a son (in high school) with them. In his free time, he enjoys spending time at home with family, and has hobbies that include music (mainly drums), sculpture (mostly steel), and pizza-making. We expect him to start full-time with us in July.
