Kathleen is an enthusiastic and empathetic clinician who joined NMC in June 2026. She holds a master’s degree in communication disorders from Emerson College as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology and linguistics from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is trained to provide services across the big nine areas of communication, with a particular focus on cognition, aphasia, voice, and swallowing. She is passionate about helping individuals communicate, swallow, and function optimally in their day-to-day lives.
Kathleen is originally from Colorado and more recently from the Boston area. Her passion for cognitive linguistics combined with a family history of dementia and stroke inspired her to enter the field of Speech Language Pathology so she could make a difference in the lives of those affected by similar difficulties. In her free time, you can usually find Kathleen in the woods, reading, or spending quality time with her family.
