Heather Ransom, PT

Heather graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA in 2008 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to that she studied biology at St. Lawrence University. Heather started her PT career working at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She completed rotations in acute care and the outpatient departments. While in Boston, Heather attended the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in Woburn, MA and received a certification in manual therapy in 2015. She moved back to her home state of Vermont in 2016. Heather has experience in a variety of settings including acute care, hospital-based outpatient, home health, and outpatient private practice. She began working at Northwestern Medical Center in May 2024. She enjoys helping individuals of all ages and abilities to improve their health and function and reach their individual goals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, outdoors, hiking, and running.
