Dr. Laporte is the current Emergency Department Medical Director at Adirondack Health and is joining NMC as a per diem Emergency Medicine physician.  He decided to join NMC because it is a unique independent hospital in a great location.   He shares that he is passionate about the patients he helps and wants them to know he believes in handshakes and sitting down to listen to his patients. 

In his spare time, you can find him enjoying his children’s hockey games.
