Christine Malcolm, DNP, CNM, FNPEmergency Medicine

Christine is passionate about addressing healthcare disparities in rural areas and feels being part of a hospital the size of NMC offers an opportunity to provide care in a way that feels uniquely connected to the community to provide services more effectively.  She was first drawn to healthcare by the midwifery model, which respects the natural intelligence of the body, empowers through teaching and engages in shared decision-making.  These are still guiding philosophies in her practice.  Her goal is to provide the best possible care while helping people to feel comfortable, safe, and empowered in the medical setting.

In her spare time, she loves writing and playing music, running, gravel riding, backcountry skiing, and gardening.  She feels grateful to live in this beautiful state and for the privilege of helping to care for the people of our communities.
