Judy Fingergut, MDFamily Medicine

About Me:

Dr. Fingergut is the Medical Director of Primary Care, serving our two practices: Northwestern Primary Care and Northwestern Georgia Health Center. Dr. Fingergut has two decades of experience, having focused for the last several years on the patient-centered medical home model of care. She is a family physician, seeing all age groups: newborns through older ages. She embraces the role of Medical Director and applies her background and experience to leading NMC to the highest level of evidence-based and truly patient focused primary care.

Strong patient relationships are what inspire Dr. Fingergut. She sees herself as an advocate for patients, helping them make positive changes in their lives. Family is also important to Dr. Fingergut. She and her husband have two college-aged sons and she enjoys being both outdoors and indoors through kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, skiing, reading, knitting and travel.

In 2018, Dr. Fingergut earned NMC's Horizon Award which is given to a new Physician/Advance Practice Provider demonstrates exemplary clinical practice and leadership.
