Ethan Hundley, MD
Dr. Ethan Hundley joined NPC in the fall of 2020 having most recently worked in Family Medicine in Jackson, Tennessee, caring for patients of all ages in both hospital and clinic settings.
"My family and I are not from Vermont, but everyone has been so warm and welcoming. They seem to truly care about both their community and their patients, and that’s something of which I want to be a part," he said.
Dr. Hundley enjoys the practice of Family Medicine because it gives him the opportunity to get to know patients on a personal level and allows long-term continuity of care with patients. He said that he is passionate about empowering people to take charge of their own health. He said that he likes to tell patients, “You’re the captain of your own ship, and I’m here to help you navigate.” He seeks to give patients the best and latest recommendations to help them make the wisest decisions for their health.
He shared that he has Type 1 diabetes, and so knows what it is like to have to manage a personal chronic health condition. "It’s HARD," he said. "Some days are better than others. Even if you know the right things to do, sometimes it’s still very difficult. It takes a lot of self-discipline, and I’m working on getting better at it just as many of my patients will be doing the same."
