The following has been shared publicly by our colleagues at the UVMHN: “The University of Vermont Health Network has experienced a significant and ongoing system-wide network issue. The Network is investigating all possible causes, including a malicious cyberattack, and we do not currently have a timeline for when systems will be restored.”
This issue impacts the flow of clinical information between the University of Vermont Medical Center and other providers, including NMC and our physician practices. NMC is currently assessing the impact and implementing plans to reduce disruption of care. We will be reaching out to specific patients whose services here at NMC may be impacted. We will provide further information on the plans here at NMC as they become available.
