RiseVT is a collaborative effort to embrace healthier lifestyles and improve the quality of life where we live, work, learn, and play.
RiseVT works with schools, businesses, and municipalities to create a healthier environment through policy, infrastructure, curriculum, and programming to inspire, engage, and assist individuals and families in making small changes in their lives that will have a big impact on their health. We seek a healthier future for all where the healthy choice is the easiest choice.
RiseVT launched in Franklin County in June 2015 and has since gone statewide and has a statewide office within OneCareVT, Vermont’s Accountable Care Organization. Locally, it is based in and funded in large part through Northwestern Medical Center as part of NMC’s community benefit investments to improve the health of our community. Visit the RiseVT website for more information and get involved!
