DESCRIPTION:Community members who are over the age of 50 or have a direct family history of colorectal cancer are invited to come to the St. Albans Farmer’s Market in Taylor Park for a FREE screening opportunity sponsored by Northwestern Medical Center’s Cancer Committee and the NMC Lab. Participants will be entered in a giveaway drawing for a basket of fresh fruits and vegetables direct from the market. The screening is done via a non-invasive at home test kit that detects blood in the stool that may indicate colorectal cancer.
