Pfizer Booster Available for Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J Vaccine Recipients at St. Albans COVID Resource Center

The St. Albans COVID Resource Center has been approved by the Vermont Department of Health (VDH) to provide a Pfizer COVID-19 booster to eligible individuals who previously received the Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccination.

For those who received Pfizer or Moderna previously, those who are age 18+ are eligible for a booster shot at 6 months or more after their initial series.

For those who received Johnson & Johnson previously, booster shots are available to those who are age 18+ at least two months or more after their vaccination.

These boosters are available through the COVID Resource Center in Valley Crossroads at 27 Fisher Pond Road in St. Albans during the following hours:

  • Wednesdays: 10am to 6pm
  • Thursdays: 2pm to 6pm
  • Fridays: 10am to 2pm
  • Saturdays: 10am to 2pm

For October 27 through October 30, individuals who received Moderna or Johnson & Johnson may walk-in for a booster during these hours.

Beginning November 1, VDH expects to have its registration system updated to make appointments for these boosters and appointments are strongly encouraged to avoid potential wait times. Appointments will be able to be made (after 11/1) online at: https://www.healthvermont.gov/covid-19/vaccine/getting-covid-19-vaccine or by calling VDH at (855) 722-7878 during normal business hours or mid-day on the weekends. Appointments are also available through NOTCH, local pharmacies, and other offerings with more information available on the VDH website.
