Hospital and Visiting Hours

The hospital, to serve its community, is open 24 hours a day. The main entrance is open at 6 a.m. and closes at 8:30 p.m.  After 8:30 p.m., all traffic for the hospital is directed through the Emergency Department entrance.

Visiting Hours

At NMC, we do not restrict visiting hours; however, we ask that visitors please allow patients ample time to rest, and nurses and physicians time to care for patients. In special circumstances (including parents of newborns & children and patients receiving palliative care services) accommodations may be made to allow family members and/or support persons to stay with patients around the clock. If your loved one has a roommate, please be respectful of the roommate’s needs.
