Position Title: Sonographer #05-62

Department:Diagnostic Imaging
Position Description: The Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer operates sonography equipment to produce images of designated portions of the body under the supervision of the Radiologist. The tech ensures that approved protocol is followed for each Ultrasound examination performed.

Days:On call as needed, weekends as needed.
The above wage range reflects the minimum and maximum hiring range for this position.

    Qualifications:
    Education:Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound.
    Experience:Minimum one year formal/on the job training in Ultrasound.
    License Required:ARRT or equivalent in Radiology Technology and/or in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS). Registered or Registry eligible in Diagnostic Ultrasound. Licensed by the State of Vermont (Rad. only). Currently holds or is pursuing registry in Ultrasound.
