Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Aide #09-121

Department:Environmental Services
Position Description: Essential functions for Facilities Maintenance Aide include but are not limited to unplugging a toilet, changing light bulbs, changing temperature on computer for rooms, dust mopping, washing halls with auto scrubbers waxing the floors, picking up trash or linen in the operating rooms. Picking up, boxing and transporting bio-hazardous material to Cobblestone. Salt and shovel morgue ramp, main hospital and emergency room entrances. Breaking down and compressing of cardboard and assisting with Precaution Units-cleaning of room.

Shift Time Schedule:Primarily second and third shift.Average Weekly Hours:Variable hrs/wk
Days:Weekends required as needed. No on-call duty required.
Salary Range:Minimum:$10.44Midpoint:Maximum:$11.48
The above wage range reflects the minimum and maximum hiring range for this position.

    Qualifications:
    Education:High School graduate preferred.
    Experience: Institutional cleaning experience preferred.
    Special Skills:Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to interact appropriately with patients of the ages served on his or her assigned unit.
    License Required:Current license to operate a motor vehicle with good driving record.
