 Position Title: Executive Assistant, #10-44

| Position Description: | Provides administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Northwestern Medical Center. The Executive Assistant must possess sophisticated skills in office software, and a working knowledge of the healthcare industry a plus. The Executive Assistant develops letters, presentations, & other communication materials, conducts research, and prepares/presents statistical reports. Provides support to the hospital’s Board of Directors, various committees, incorporators and from time to time other hospital departments. Responsibilities require the exercise of independent judgment, a keen ability to organize and prioritize the schedules for a busy office, and technical knowledge of a wide range of hospital activities. |

Status: Full Time | Shift: Day |
Shift Time Schedule: Shifts typically 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with flexibility to work early and late as needed; and at possible weekend events. | Average Weekly Hours: 40+ |
Days: Possible weekends. No on-call duty required |

 | Education: | Minimum of an Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. |
 | Experience: | A minimum of three - five years experience as an Executive Assistant to senior management level professionals. Work experience with Boards and/or senior staff. |
 | Special Skills: | Demonstrated effectiveness using superior judgment, diplomacy and independence. Strong administrative and organizational skills and ability to deal effectively with tight deadlines while maintaining balance among multiple priorities. Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings. Ability to work successfully under pressure with sensitive and highly confidential information. Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to successful completion. Excellent spelling and English skills. Advanced knowledge and skill in use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Exceptional interpersonal skills required. |
