Position Title: EHR Implementation Specialist, #10-30

Department:Information Technology
Position Description: Creates, generates and distributes custom reports from various data sources using industry standard query and report creation tools such as Crystal reports and Microsoft Excel. Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of relational database concepts. Develops and integrates electronic forms into business processes using vendor supplied form building tools. Actively participates on the hospital forms committee. Writes non-complex SQL queries and maintains data dictionaries. Performs data validation, data entry and interface testing with a strong emphasis on detail. Performs data transformations to facilitate data conversions. Demonstrates an understanding of coding, billing, ADT and overall clinical integrations. Installs PC and peripheral devices, with an emphasis on printers, label printers, and scanners. Performs basic PC troubleshooting and works with helpdesk staff and Informaticist to resolve EMR implementation challenges.

Shift Time Schedule:Availability to work all shifts required; typically 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.Average Weekly Hours:39 hrs/wk
Days:No weekends required. No on-call duty required.
Salary Range:Minimum:$22.32Midpoint:Maximum:$24.55
The above wage range reflects the minimum and maximum hiring range for this position.

    Qualifications:
    Education:Associates Degree with a concentration in Information Technology preferred.
    Experience:Minimum of three years experience in Healthcare Information Technology required. MS SQL, Pervasive, Progress, Oracle or other relational database experience highly preferred. Software implementation experience a plus. Nursing or clinical experience a plus.

    Driver’s license; travel to other sites and hospital clinics may be required.
    Temporary Flexible Full Time position through October 31, 3010.
