Position Title: Clinical/IT Analyst, #10-31

Department:Information Techonology
Position Description: Provide software and equipment use training and support to physician practice end users, to include office staff, nurses and physicians. Analyzes organization business processes to identify problem root causes or to identify opportunities for improved patient care. Assist end users with connectivity via RDP, Terminal Services, and Citrix and troubleshoots connectivity issues. Assists with system documentation and development of IT system controls, policies and procedures as related to the physician practice EMR. Uses basic project management concepts to participate in planning and projection of work requirements. Must be able to work independently on a day-to-day basis and equally as well in a team environment. Will work with hospital IT Staff to develop, implement, troubleshoot and maintain HL7 Interfaces, VPN connectivity and Software as a Service (SaaS) environments. Assist with troubleshooting of wired and wireless networks and supports peripherals. Will augment hospital IT helpdesk and operations staff as required.

Shift Time Schedule:Availability to work all shifts required. Average Weekly Hours:40 hrs/wk
Days:Possible on-call duty required. Occasional weekends required.
Salary Range:Minimum:$24.12Midpoint:Maximum:$26.53
The above wage range reflects the minimum and maximum hiring range for this position.

    Qualifications:
    Education:Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Information Technology preferred.
    Experience:Five years experience in Healthcare Information Technology preferred and experience supporting or implementing an Allscripts EMR a strong advantage. Nursing, Clinical or Practice Management experience highly favorable.

    Driver’s license; travel to other sites and hospital clinics may be required.
    Temporary Full Time position through October 31, 2010.
