A Glimpse at Leadership at NMC
As NMC has grown, we have resisted the temptation to become administratively bureaucratic. We have strategically sought to remain organizationally nimble -- led by a small group of professionals who are passionate about our mission and vision.
 Our Chief Executive Officer is Jill Berry Bowen. The Leadership Team also includes Ted Sirotta, our Chief Financial Officer; Sandy Robinson, our Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Clinical Services; Jonathan Billings, our Director of Planning and Community Services; Jane Catton, our Chief Quality Officer/Director of Process Improvement; Mary Lou Beaulieu, our Chief Compliance Officer/Director of Human Resources, and Kelly Barland, our Chief Information Officer.
The Leadership Team meets weekly -- touching base on what's happening throughout the hospital, working collaboratively on issues of shared concern, and ensuring NMC remains on course in alignment with our strategic plan. Our Leadership strives to be interchangeable through trust, excellent communication and a shared approach to decision making -- so that between other Leadership Team members and our talented staff throughout the facility, progress can continue even when a key individual is away.
A discussion of leadership at NMC would be incomplete without a special spotlight on the NMC Board of Directors. This volunteer group of community leaders sets the direction for our organization through strategic planning and regular interaction with our Leadership Team and Medical Staff:

Based on the direction established by the Board, the Leadership Team works with the Medical Staff, the hospital management staff (made up of 30 department managers and team leaders), and our front line nursing, clinical, administrative, and support staff to ensure that NMC provides access to optimal health care in our community -- and that we are actively working to be at the center of our community's efforts to be healthy. |
