Family Birth Center 
Each baby is a new beginning --- a new life story beginning to unfold and a new chapter in a family's life. Northwestern Medical Center's Family Birth Center is a great place for new beginnings, offering many of the comforts of home, while providing the security of modern technology and strong relationships with the neonatal center at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. At NMC, roughly 500 birth occur each year.
Our Family Birth Center supports expectant parents' personalized birth experiences, including education in infant care and breastfeeding. In addition to our labor and delivery services, our Family Birth Center provides care to women and children.
