Spiritual Support

Located near the entry to both the Medical/Surgical and Intensive Care Units, the NMC Chapel offers a quiet place for prayer and reflection.

Specially trained volunteers are available to address your spiritual needs.  A Pastoral Care Volunteer may be visiting during your stay here. If prayer gives you comfort and strength, feel free to ask the volunteer to pray with you, or for you, at some later time.  With your permission, the volunteer can contact your own priest or pastor for you, if you have one.

Two local Catholic priests take turns providing coverage for emergency situations.  Ask your nurse to contact one of them for you, if you or your family needs a priest.
